High-risk Obstetrics

High risk pregnancies follow up appointment .

This include patients with previous medical conditions like (severe high blood pressure, maternal diabetes or thyroid dysfunction); patients with past history of adverse obstetrical outcome like (repeated 1st trimester miscarriage, severe pre-eclampsia, or even in-uterus fetal death); or patients with abnormal fetal morphological conditions or syndromes that have been detected during the actual pregnancy, which may require the contribution of other specialities, like Perinatology or Pediatric Cardiology during follow up, or at the delivery ward.
